Named after one of the most successful pirates of the 18th century, Black Bart is one of our two bottle conditioned ciders. Granny Smith apple cider is fermented until dry, hopped, and then bottled with the addition of Saison yeast and aged for at least four additional months undergoing secondary fermentation. The resulting cider is bone dry, tart, and refreshingly crisp with a hint of hops.
Crafted from a variety of local apples including Ida Red, Braeburn, and Granny Smith, Bristols Original is our flagship cider. Mostly dry but slightly sweet, this is our best seller and a favorite of many.
18 months bourbon barrel aged blend of Arkansas Black, Black Twig, Honey Crisp, Newton Pippin and Granny Smith conditioned with a blend of Champagne yeast and Brettanomyces. Can be laid down for years to increase ciders already powerful complexity.
