2016 Oveja (76% Picpoul Blanc & 24% Grenache Blanc) Dry-Farmed
Immediately there exists a mélange of tropical aromas like under ripened guava, pineapple and more of a green papaya mixed in with what’s starting to feel like an Old Oak vineyard signature combination of oak leaves and hay notes. Fermented and aged in concrete this chalky wine unfolds very elegantly with softness and smoothness, proclaiming itself to be a wine meant for the joyful meandering conversations found amongst friends and family.

2014 Points West White (46% Roussanne, 24% Picpoul Blanc, 21% Viognier, 9% Grenache Blanc)
The 2014 vintage of our Points West White is highlighted by the honeyed freshness of Viognier and Picpoul Blanc and the banana walnut bread aromas of the Roussanne. Great depth and structure are melded together with a chalky mineral appeal of the Grenache Blanc. Bosch pear, graham crackers topped with fresh apricot combine with the spiced flavors of Russian oak. This is what a deep mouthwatering white Rhône blend should be.

2013 Old Hat (70% Zinfandel, 30% Petite Sirah) Dry-Farmed
Starting with the color of a red-smoked vintage lamp, the dusty earthy aromas are joined by faint wisps of dry cherries. This wine is right at the tilting point of the “aged” wine see-saw of smells where things just seem more important, as though the wine has more to say now that it has survived through its growing phase. Fine layered tannins make for an impressive smoothness that provide a foundation for the elegant fruit laden Zinfandel and the impactful companion of Petite Sirah. Much like a symphony’s music builds to crescendo, this vintage’s subtlety leads to boldness.
